The story of GARMENT PROJECT
GARMENT PROJECTwas born from the desire to make truly casual sneakers that can be worn anywhere and anytime. In 2013, GARMENT PROJECT became a reality and later that year the first Classic Lace went onto the market. Classic Lace is the sneaker that started it all and it is actually a classic leather sneaker but with comfort and extra details that cannot be found anywhere else.
With the Classic Lace, GARMENT PROJECT made an opening in the market and already in the first season, GARMENT PROJECT had established itself in the Danish sneaker scene. Classic Lace has become a seasonal classic and from there the GARMENT PROJECT collection has been gradually developed and expanded year after year. Many styles have been added, but what they all have in common is the fact that they are made from the softest leather, handmade in Portugal, and with a focus on comfort and technical details.
Season after season, GARMENT PROJECT aims to make an even better product. Every Garment style needs to be improved and we are constantly working on an even sharper product. Better soles, more comfort and more technical details. GARMENT PROJECT is always innovating and developing continuously. They want to deliver a better product every season.

The production of the shoes
All GARMENT PROJECT styles are produced in Portugal. This is because Portugal is the leader when it comes to shoe production. By producing the shoes within Europe, visiting the factories often becomes much easier. It ensures that GARMENT PROJECT is close to production and it is therefore easier to maintain a general overview.
