The tips for long-term use of your winter coat!
Keep the jacket as clean as possible
You go to the forest, sit in the car or walk past somewhere. A spot can happen of course. If there is a small stain on it, you can easily clean it with stain remover. Rub it in gently and then let it sit for half an hour. Then rinse it well with lukewarm water. The stain will probably be completely gone after this.
Outside air works wonders
We recommend not washing the jacket in a washing machine, as water-repellent material has been used. The washing machine can cause this material to come off and the jacket to absorb the water. Has the jacket really become dirty and is using only stain remover not sufficient? Then we advise you to take the jacket to the dry cleaner. Here they clean the jacket thoroughly and in a safe way. Do you just want to refresh the jacket? Then we recommend hanging the jacket outdoors. The fresh air will do wonders.
Use a soft brush
To keep your winter coat fresh and clean, you can also use a clothes brush. This allows you to easily remove dust and other dirt. Dust and superficial dirt can be removed with a brush or a damp cloth. Using a clothes brush regularly will help keep your coat fresh. The clothes brush is a brush whose bristles all point in one direction. The bristles are generally very short, making brushing 'against the direction' easier. This is especially suitable for a wool coat.
